Innovative roofing solutions that stand up to Mother Nature

Why DaVinci Roofscapes products are the best defense for your customer’s home.

At the International Builder Show, Heidi J. Ellsworth from RoofersCoffeeShop® met Theo Maglio from DaVinci Roofscapes in the Westlake Royal Building Products booth. Theo, DaVinci's Western regional sales manager, shared insights into their innovative roofing solutions.

One of the main things Theo highlighted is the appeal of DaVinci's Shake products, especially on the West Coast. “Our shake products are definitely popular in the West. We came out with a composite version that looks just like natural cedar shake and performs a little bit better,” Theo explained. He details the versatility and authentic look of their multi-width shake, which mimics traditional wood while offering superior performance.

Discussing the importance of durability in areas prone to fire and wind, Theo highlighted the exceptional safety features of their products. “This product specifically offers a Class A fire rating. That's a pain point that a lot of the homeowners have dealt with in California and Colorado and across the West,” he noted.

The two then discussed the aesthetic versatility and innovative design of DaVinci's roofing materials. Theo presented DaVinci’s Province Slate, their newest product line with a self-aligning system that interlocks for easy installation.

He pointed out, “We cut everything at the plant so that when contractors are out installing it, all they have to do is grab and go.”

Theo further detailed the technical aspects of the product's durability, such as the wind rating and impact resistance. “This multi-width slate does offer a 110-mph wind rating with a two-nail install,” Theo stated. He also mentioned the product's Class 4 impact rating, which is the highest rating possible, giving homeowners who live in hail-prone areas peace of mind.

Whether you're installing these products in areas that face hail, wind, fire or anything else Mother Nature sends its way, DaVinci offers products that not only offer protection but also add curb appeal to any home they’re installed on.
