Elite Roofing is the May R-Club Roofer of the Month!

Elite Roofing May Roofer of the Month
May 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.

By Emma Peterson.

This is not a cookie cutter contracting company, and that’s how they found success.

RoofersCoffeeShop® is proud to announce that our May 2024 R-Club Roofer of the Monthis Elite Roofing! To celebrate, Megan Ellsworth interviewed Elite’s owner, Albert Torrella, for this Roofer of the Month podcast episode. Elite Roofing is based in the heart of New Jersey and specializes in low-slope roofs and historical preservation projects.

Albert described their work, saying, “We love to restore historic stuff, to bring it back to the way it was in the turn of the century or late 1800s. It's something different, bringing back our heritage, our past.” One of his personal favorite aspects of this type of work is helping people realize that “they want something different. They don't want to be like a regular cookie cutter house.”

This idea of breaking the cookie cutter mold is something that Elite Roofing carries over to their company values. Albert elaborated, “We try to foster a camaraderie among all our people. What we try to do is get the next generation of roofers ready to take its place in this world.” All of this centers around their acknowledgment that roofing is not a cookie cutter job. Albert explained, “It's a hard job to begin with and we try to make it better. What we do here is we try to be better for ourselves and better for our comrades.”

Elite Roofing’s dedication to teaching and supporting each other on all kinds of paths translates into their excellent customer service. Albert explained the foundation of their strategy, saying, “You have to listen to them, but beyond listening, you have to interpret what they're saying and make sure what they want will work for them.” At its core, their customer service emphasizes taking the time to meet their clients where they are to ensure that each of their unique needs are met. Overall, Elite Roofing has found great success breaking out of the mold and meeting their clients and employees where they are.
